The theatre exercises, which will be used during the exploration (or the process) has a different approach altogether.

Rather than trying to break through an individual’s psychological defences (this type of pseudo-psychiatry can be very harmful), the participants are encouraged to contact their vulnerability through their physical body and the use of imagination instead of sense memory.

We work through metaphor (elements of nature, animals, man-made objects), improvisations, and imagination exercises.

The Six Selves

  • the instinctive self
  • the social self
  • the trusting self
  • the unresolved self

"Be what you are.  This is the first step toward becoming better than you are." ~Julius Charles Hare

"The modern use of dramatic process and theatre as a therapeutic intervention began with Psychodrama. The field has expanded to allow many forms of theatrical interventions as therapy including role-play, theater game, group-dynamic games, mime, puppetry, and other improvisational techniques.

Often, drama therapy is utilized to help a client:

•    Solve a problem
•    Achieve a catharsis
•    Delve into truths about self
•    Understand the meaning of personally resonant images
•    Explore and transcend unhealthy patterns of interaction"

(Wikipedia)

''Theater has such an obvious connection to the emotions that it can awaken in people in a way that no other medium can,'' said actress Marilyn Chris. ''Other arts can be more abstract, but with theater you are dealing with communication between people; it has a unique key-in to our emotional selves.''

If you want to overcome fear, insecurity, shyness, anger and the like, a theater workshop can equip you with tools to help yourself.

It is achieved the magic of believing that is created during the exercises. The theater games allow us to release our fears and uncover our hidden potential. You start believing in yourself too!

Verbal Instructive Healing

E-mail Print PDF

(Excerpted from ‘Advance Pranic Healing’ by Master Choa Kok Sui.)

The instructions are given in words. The instructions can be given verbally, subliminally, or telepathically. Healing instructions can be given through ordinary tapes or subliminal tapes. The patient can listen to the tapes several times a day for as long as necessary. This type of healing has been called by many names:

1.    hypnotherapy
2.    suggestive healing
3.    healing through self-suggestion
4.    healing through affirmation
5.    healing by talking to your body or the affected part
6.    healing by command
7.    healing by decreeing

In verbal instructive healing, the healer verbally or telepathically instructs the physical subconscious mind, or the chakra, or the organ what to do and to get well.

For example, in pancreatic diabetes, a pranic healer after giving pranic healing can instruct the pituitary gland through the ajna chakra to command the pancreas to produce sufficient insulin as required by the body. As another example, to heal a wound, telepathically instruct or command the wound to close and heal during pranic treatment.

Procedure

  1. Visualize the face of the patient.
  2. Smile or project loving-kindness to the patient. This is to establish rapport and to increase receptivity.
  3. Telepathically instruct the physical subconscious mind what to do and to manifest the expected end result. The instructions can also be recorded on tape and the patient can listen to them several times a day for as long as necessary.
  4. Repeat the process for as long as necessary. The frequency of instructive healing depends on the situation.

A congested chakra can be cleansed by energizing it with light whitish green, then by telepathically instructing it to turn predominantly counterclockwise and to expel the diseased energy. Once the affected chakra is decongested, instruct it to normalize its rotation.

An overactivated chakra can be inhibited just with an act of the will by the healer. An underactivated chakra can be activated also just by willing. But better results are obtained if the affected chakra is first thoroughly cleansed and energized.

When cleansing or energizing an affected part, you can telepathically instruct the physical subconscious mind to clear the blocked meridians, thereby, facilitating the healing process.

The patient can also do verbal instructive healing on himself or herself through self-suggestion, affirmation or by talking to the affected chakras and the affected organs. The affirmation can be repeated for about 5 to 10 minutes per session and about once or several times a day depending upon the need. Patient may also gently and lovingly talk to the body, the affected chakra(s), and the affected part(s) and request them to get well soon. This can be repeated every day for as long as necessary.

Self-suggestion or affirmation is very helpful in hastening the healing process. You may use this affirmation, “My body is becoming healthier. My (name the affected organ) is healing and getting better.”

Many ailments are emotionally induced or are caused by resentment and inability to forgive. Therefore, it is advisable that the affirmation is not only for the physical ailment but also for the emotion. You may use this affirmation, “I forgive all those who have caused me injury and pain. I release all the hurts. Divine Father, I humbly ask your forgiveness far all my mistakes. I am at peace and filled with love. My body is becoming healthier and healthier.”

You may also use a multipurpose affirmation by Emile Coue, “Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better.” The healing affirmation has to be repeated several times a day far as long as necessary.

Meditation for Divine Healing

E-mail Print PDF

The following meditation attunes you to receive divine healing. It should be done early in the morning and last thing at night — these are the times when one is in harmony with the spirit consciousness (the deep subconscious).

Healing Light

  • Play some meditation music if possible. Lie on your back in bed with the covers pulled up to your chin. (If you are sleeping with a partner, ensure freedom from being disturbed by telling him or her what you are going to do.)
  • Align your body so that you feel square and straight, hands resting loosely beside you. Breathe deeply and relax.
  • Close your eyes. Sense your body and its weight. If it feels uneven, move until your weight feels equal all over.
  • Sense your sick body's position in bed. Breathe deeply. Say your own personal prayer, asking God for healing.
  • Recognize your tension by feeling the aches and pains of your body. Acknowledge the stress you feel. Breathe deeply and surrender this stress and tension to God.
  • Envision God's white light as a giant hand above your head. Watch as it radiates an electric blue ray over you, saturating your entire being and healing you on all levels.
  • Watch your physical body relax as you begin to breathe slowly and deeply. Watch the aches and pains leave you.
  • Continue to breathe deeply and watch this electric blue ray turn golden and enter the area to be healed. Surrender to the will of God and His pleasure in healing you.
  • See the diseased matter being washed out through the surface of your body, where it disintegrates and turns to gas. Breathe deeply and allow yourself to listen to the music that is playing.
  • Continue to breathe deeply and allow your mind to observe the entire healing process that takes place. Know that when it is completed, you will clearly see an improvement or cure.
  • Now that the healing process is completed, allow yourself the luxury of being in visual contemplation of a safe haven, where you are relaxing. Breathe slowly and allow yourself to drift into sleep with the conscious knowledge that this healing work will continue throughout the night.

Note: For the morning meditation, you may shorten the relaxation procedure, as your body is already relaxed. Remember to acknowledge God in your activities. Treat yourself with love following this kind of healing. Remember, it takes time to undo past wrongs which have resulted in fear and disease, so be patient.
